How to Practice P.L.E.L.

These simple steps bring the P.L.E.L. philosophy into everyday life:


1. Notice What You Receive


Every interaction starts with awareness.
Before you can complete a loop, you must notice the loop that has begun.

Someone offers you:

• Time
• Attention
• Support
• Kindness
• Energy
• Insight
• Space to speak
• A gesture of care

Most people move past these moments without acknowledgment. P.L.E.L. begins by slowing down just enough to see what is being given to you.
Presence is the foundation of the entire practice.


2. Acknowledge the Exchange


Acknowledgment is the energetic bridge between receiving and giving.

This can sound like:

• “Thank you for sharing that with me.”
• “I appreciate you taking the time.”
• “I hear you.”
• “That means a lot.”
• “I value your presence here.”

It can also show up through body language, a smile, eye contact, or a moment of stillness.

Acknowledgment tells the other person that what they offered was seen, appreciated, and received. Without acknowledgment, the loop remains open and incomplete.


3. Return Energy Back Into the Circle


This is the heart of P.L.E.L.
Returning energy does not mean matching exactly what was given. It means offering something meaningful back into the exchange.
